Know .NET? Wanna work in Ithaca, NY?
blaisepascal
My company is hiring. Actually, my company has been looking for a while, but there has been a dearth of applicants in this area.

The job posting can be found here: http://www.psdconsulting.com/company/employment/seniorNETwebdeveloper

Personally, I think knowledge of .NET to be less important than equivalent experience and a willingness to learn/work in .NET. I hadn't worked in .NET before 3-4 years ago myself (and my first experience with JAVA was as a TA in college).

We are an agile team (loosely using Scrum), working in an open-plan office in Ithaca. Most of us have learned Agile Development on the job here, and are forging our own way forward. We have an office in Philadelphia, but have found that having a dev team split between location doesn't work well for us. Currently, there are 6 developers.

Ithaca is a beautiful, progressive, small city in the middle of upstate New York. It is the home of both Cornell University and Ithaca College, and is on the southern tip of the largest of the Finger Lakes. A 5 minute drive in any direction yields farm land.
