Attention Fen On My List:
blaisepascal
I have not seen The Avengers. I have plans to see it next weekend (although there are apparently child-care issues to be resolved). I don't want to hear about it until then.

I hear it's wonderful, and it was only post-release that I heard that Joss Whedon was behind it. I don't even know who's in it. That's how out of touch I am.

Hopefully, it'll be good enough to wash that abomination with Sean Connery and Uma Thurman out of my mind. Did they get a good actress for Emma Peal?

Of course I'm joking. I haven't even seen the Ralph Finnes/Uma Thurman version!

(Seriously, my mind is reeling with the possibility of Avengers/Avengers crossover fan fiction. Perhaps opening with Steed and Peel getting sent to investigate a situation and on their way are passed by a flying Iron Man....)

Well acted, great special effects. Stay until the very end. Try to go when there isn't too big a crowd so you don't miss what's being said while people are laughing.

It's MARVEL. Anyone who leaves before the very end is an IDIOT.

Wait, it doesn't have Patrick Macnee?

Child care has been resolved.

Now the only question is, your place or mine? (^_^)

I'm thinking my place. Skitten has a concert that day which limits my driving capabilities.

This week, at least, the 2D showing in Ithaca are 1:50, 3:40, 6:50, 8:40, and 10:00. I'm not sure which showing would be best for you.

Next weekend (including the 12th), the web says... it's not showing. The only movie listed for next week is Dark Shadows. I assume that's an incomplete listing.

I'd be aiming for the 1:50 since we're coming to you.
