A big difficulty is that sitting in my chair at work is painful. The entire front of my leg hurts, and I don't know what will ease that and still leave me functional.

I have, a couple of times, gone off to a nice, quiet, dark room and laid down on the floor, legs up on a chair, and rested in that position for 10 minutes, but it only provides a temporary respite.

the long weekend with nothing to do will hopefully help, a lot.
